Founded in 1970, The Clarke School for the Deaf, Chennai, has grown from a modest initiative into one of India’s leading schools for children with special needs, serving students from across the country. With expertise in education, skills development, and rehabilitation, the school supports children with hearing impairments, intellectual disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, and multiple disabilities, including deaf blindness. The school pioneers educational, vocational, and cultural rehabilitation programs, helping every child develop confidence, communication, and independence in a compassionate and inclusive environment.
We provide thoughtfully designed programs that foster learning, communication, and life skills. Our dedicated team of educators and therapists work closely with families to support each child’s academic, social, emotional, and vocational development at their own pace.
